Please note that e-commerce features are still in Alpha status. The following might change for the final release.
1. Enable taxes
In your WordPress Admin go to “picu > Settings > E-Commerce” and enable “Use taxes”:
2. Enter prices with or without tax
How the prices will be shown in the front end is dependent on the following setting:
A. Choosing “Yes, I enter prices with tax included.”
- Clients will see the final price while selecting images:
- During checkout there will be a separate row where the amount of tax will be displayed.
- When changing the country the tax amount might change, depending on the rate, but the total will stay the same in all cases.
B. Choosing “No, I enter prices exclusive of tax.”
- Clients will see the total and “+ Tax” while selecting images:
- During checkout the tax amount will be added to the final price. There will be two separate rows: Subtotal, as well as the tax amount.
- When changing the country the tax and the total amount will change, depending on the tax rate of the selected country.
3. Countries & Tax Rates
You can define a different tax rate per country.
There is also an option to limit the countries you want to sell to.
If you want to sell to a country, but do not want to add any taxes for that specific country, enter “0” as the tax rate.
