Selling images on your website

One question we get a lot, is how to sell images directly with picu, which is not possible right now. While we wanted to change that for a long time, we never got around to actually build it. Now with some bigger stepping stones out of the way in picu 2.3.0 and picu Pro 1.4.0, we feel like it’s finally time to tackle E-commerce!

In preparation, we spent the last few weeks collecting every single piece of feedback we got, that was even closely related to selling images online (which were a few). As you can imagine, there are nearly as many different workflows as there are photographers, which is why we worked our way through them all to find out what would be the best way for picu to go about this.

All this gave us a rough picture of how we think we should build this, but before we blindly follow our instinct, we wanted to ask all of you once again.

So, if you are a photographer who is using picu (or not!), and who is or would like to sell images on your website, please answer our survey and help shape the way picu will work in the future. It only takes a couple of minutes but will help us tremendously!

We really want to get this right, so the more input from the real world we can get, the better.

And as always, if you have any questions, or feedback that doesn’t fit into the survey, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly.
