picu 0.9.1

Today we released version 0.9.1 of picu.

First let me say thank you to everyone, that send us feedback over the last couple of weeks. This is really helpful, so keep it coming!

New in 0.9.1

Redirection

Before this version, after submitting his/her selection the client would see a confirmation message. From now on he/she will also be redirected to the homepage after five seconds.

Our upcoming Brand & Customize add-on will have an option to change the redirection target to any URL.

Default Email Message

We also implemented a filter, that allows you to change the default email message.

You can of course still change the message before sending it to the client. But now you can change the default as well – to have a starting point that fits your needs.

In an upcoming add-on we will have a nice UI to easily change this (and other terms and phrases) in the WordPress backend.

For now you need to be able to edit your theme to overwrite the default message. It’s pretty straight forward, though:

Copy the following code snippet into your theme’s functions.php file and change the message to your liking:

Please Note: This only works from picu version 0.9.1 onwards, so make sure you have at least this version installed.

Translation

We also have gotten a lot of requests to translate picu into more languages. This is of course something we would love to do, so if you are a picu user and would like to help us translate the plugin, please get in touch.

We hope you like the changes we made. Get the latest version of picu.
