Welcome to this month’s quick update on the things we’ve been working on. While the days grow shorter, and it’s slowly getting colder in our part of the world, we’ve been working mostly on smaller improvements and refinements to make your day-to-day workflow just a little bit smoother.
Business Settings
You can now set your business address as well as your bank details in the picu settings, which then will be displayed on invoices to your clients.
Invoices
When selling images using picu, you can choose between digital payments using Stripe or PayPal, as well as manual bank transfer. The first two are redirecting clients to the respective provider to handle the payment and then back automatically, when the payment succeeded.
This month, we implemented invoices that are created automatically for each order. Your clients will get a professional invoice that they can print or download as a PDF as they wish.
For clients using bank transfer, if you set your bank details or payment instructions in picu settings, they will be displayed on the invoice as well.
Order History Log
Whenever something important changes with one of your orders, we now log this as a new “order history” together with the order. This info then gets displayed inside the order view in the backend, so that you can retrace and understand what happened, and when, in case any questions come up later on.
Bugfixes and small improvements
Apart from the changes above, we fixed some formatting issues on the frontend and made the handling of failed order/payments more sturdy.

Help Us Spread the Word
We’re a small team working hard to make picu the best photo proofing solution out there, and your reviews genuinely make a difference. If picu has been useful for your photography business, we’d love it if you could share your thoughts on WordPress.org. A positive review there helps us in rankings and makes it easier for other photographers to find picu. Thank you for being part of the picu community!
