If you upload huge amounts of images, the default uploader can get a bit slow. Import let’s you import images from a directory on your web server.

Import directly from your web server

Upload a folder of images to the import location on your web server (wp-content/uploads/picu/import/)

Choose directory to import

Select which folder you want to import when creating a new collection and import the images in the background.

Clean up after import

Choose what should happen to the original directory after a successful import: Leave it as is, move to another location or delete.
