We’re excited to announce the launch of picu e-commerce! Selling images has been the most requested feature ever since we started building picu, and about a year ago we decided it’s finally time to integrate this feature once and for all.
Starting today, you can download picu 3.0 & picu Pro 2.0 where you will find an option to “Sell Images” in your proofing collections. This will allow you to set prices and configure payment settings in your proofing collections so that your clients can directly purchase the images they approve.
We cannot wait to get this into your hands and to see how you are going to use this. And we have a lot of plans to enhance this in the upcoming weeks and months.

Handling Taxes
If you sell something online, chances are that you need to collect and pay taxes in some way or another. We baked taxes right into picu, and built this as flexible as we could so that you can set up countries and tax rates exactly the way you need them.
Currency Support
Whether you’re based in Berlin, New York, Tokyo or Zurich. Built-in currency support means you can set your store to your local currency, no matter where you are located. Simply configure your preferred currency and all pricing displays accordingly throughout the purchase process.
Stripe Integration
While it’s perfectly fine to handle payments manually and use picu only as your digital storefront, integrating directly with a payment provider makes accepting payments a lot easier. We support Stripe right from the start and plan to add more providers very soon.

Requirements
Selling images is available in picu Pro starting from version 2.0. And the best part? If you’re already a Pro subscriber, you’re all set. Update your plugin and these sales capabilities are immediately available – no new subscriptions, no additional costs, just enhanced functionality.
Make sure to update both the free picu core 3.0 AND picu pro 2.0 plugins, as both are required for e-commerce to work!
And if you are not yet using picu Pro, there’s never been a better time to upgrade!
